Three cheers for the hegemonic class. Hooray ! Where are we heading ? First of all, the right to education, the right to information, freedom of speech, religion among many others, our supposedly fundamental rights are all shining with the four couloured flag of Mark Twain?s paradise.

Policies put forward by the captains of the boat are awesome. Revolt and protests, dear workers and citizens, are disturbances to those who own the business. If you dare manifest you anguish, you are fired ! Bear in mind that you form part of the minority group of the industry. Otherwise, it is okay. Work, adopt a submissive attitude and bear the heavy burdens inflicted upon you, you are never going to be sent back home ! It is a no nonsense policy ! Away with your cries. You are the few ones creating trouble, do not shout, he?ll pull you by your neck !

Long live Independence and Free-dom of speech ! Three cheers for our country? Do not forget, it is but a democratic one ! Dear students and parents, for we all are students, parents and workers, let?s celebrate the freedom of speech. Let?s celebrate poverty !

Set the good example, be submissive to those who have the reins at hand. Our salutes to you masters. Raise your voice, you are fired from your job. Students, dare to voice out, you are beaten up and sent back home. Corporal punishment is but present everywhere? CORPORAL PUNISHMENT IS A CRIME !

Ombudsperson, make it clear to those short-sighted people. They put on the mask of being unaware or they simply are ignorant, the second option being impossible. Why ? Dare do the same thing to their children and see if they do not bounce on you with law and justice in their hands. Long live Mauritius, the place so much highlighted under the banner of Paradise !
