?Belief??
Belief and trust are two different things? They do not share identical meanings Only trying but actually succe-eding? These two lack the same breeding.
Some people say words are useless Words, they pretend, are so meaningless My friends wonder if poems do change something Perhaps, they ask, it?s a leitmotiv I always sing.
Everytime I grope for my pen Everytime my muse guides my hand I shiver a little Thinking how thoughts can be so brittle.
Before commencing, I question my soul Without any qualms, it answers me whole Quietly, demurely, it commands my steps But staggering, falling, I feel I?ll lose the bet.
Many a times, I?m just so confused Often, I stand completely bemused When the ideas come stumbling down I consider them with a wary frown.
I?m aware that my poems reflect reality But they are also full of immaturity Sometimes they echo a utopian ideology Picturing a united and peaceful community.
When I casually ramble about happiness Pessimists sourly display callousness When I plead for social change They suggest that I change the tape.
At times I contemplate giving up This is when I don?t receive any thumbs-up I let my pen drop And everything fizzles out with a pop.
I then become like the rest of them Handling myself over to the fiends Without warning, I plunge into the abyss But still, something is painfully amiss.
Somehow, it dawns on me How blind and gullible I had been So I fumble for my bearings When I hear the angels calling. When God shows us the way
When He gently smothers the brambles away It takes us a split second To chase away our very own demons?
