Plumes engagées
Tropically Urban
Vatsala Radhakeesoon.
À l’heure du tout à l’image et du buzz sans suite, «l’express» souhaite faire découvrir la plume de poètes, de chanteurs, d’écrivains et de tous ceux qui jettent leur âme sur le papier, et qui mettent en mots des réflexions profondes.
A pigeon swiftly, steadily flies
in the endless cerulean
of the morning glow
away from the flight’s ritual of
circular motion dance
Chains freshly broken
Rules of routine in rebellion
One pigeon carves its
freedom spoken
Individualistic breath of kisses
swim in the growth-lotuses
Corps de Garde Mountain goggles
the novelty
anchoring
sheltering
bubble wrapping
All
in the New Era
Adaptable soldier
the town bows to you
Down, at ground-level
doors open, doors close
like exclamation marks (!)
echoing
homely chores
yelling
work for a salary
The dichotomy
of dilemma dives
in the solo and team games
confluencing at the
river of branches –
The choices.
