Little things
Luciano Perrine
À l’heure du tout à l’image et du buzz sans suite, «l’express» souhaite faire découvrir la plume de poètes, de chanteurs, d’écrivains et de tous ceux qui jettent leur âme sur le papier, et qui mettent en mots des réflexions profondes.
I want those little things.
I want those little moments.
The ones that seem bland,
Which could become so grand
If you were holding the right hand.
If you were talking all night till 3 am…
I wanna kiss your forehead, your neck
I wanna give you my jacket.
On the cold winter nights
I want us to watch the starlight,
Even if no star shines brighter than your eyes.
I want the little flustered smile
When across the room we would cross each other’s sight!
I wanna wish you good morning and goodnight.
I wanna be there when you’re crying.
I wanna be there when it’s boring.
I wanna be there when it’s exhilarating
And when you’re winning
I will be in the crowd cheering!
Flexing, “Hey that’s the love of my life! Look at how she is shining,”
I will be saying
I want the little things, really.
The innocent little moment
The ones that seem cringy.
Until you are holding the right hands.

Thanks to his mother who has wished to make him culturally diverse since he was very young, Lups, his pen name, has always been knee-deep into the world of fiction. A lover of art in every form, he seeks to take his passion out of the mess of ideas in his dreamy mind, and even hopefully publish before his 18th birthday a poetry booklet and perhaps a novel afterwards.
