Pour justifier la fin de la PNQ, Sooroojdev Phokeer a cité le Standing Order 25 (5) qui se lit comme suit «A question which one Minister has refused to answer cannot be addressed to another Minister and a question answered by one Minister cannot be put to another». Or, le speaker, lui, a dit «You are not allowed to insist on the question in light of the answer of the Hon PM on the basis of the wording of the PNQ…»
Pour rappel, alors que Xavier Duval s’apprêtait à poser la première question supplémentaire, il a été stoppé, ce qui a provoqué un brouhaha et plusieurs expulsions avant la suspension de la séance.
