Working together
?It?s time to halt the approach that pits school against school or pupil against pupil?, says the Association of Professional Mentors (APM). In a letter addressed to the Prime minister, Ashik Junglee, the APM president, pledges to work towards a ?world-class quality education?. To achieve this, ,the APM hopes to develop with the government, a relationship based on ?mutual trust, respect and understanding?.
All education partners should endeavour to give opportunities to youngsters irrespective of their families? wealth, race, creed or gender. The idea is to form a group of politicians, teachers, school support staff, parents, education providers and of course students. These will work hand in hand to tackle the flaws, ?which underpin the educational system of our country?.
