● <B> EDUCATION FAIR. </B> The annual UK Education fair by Campus Abroad will be held at Labourdonnais Hotel, in Port Louis, as from next Saturday. This agency recruits students choosing to study abroad. The fair offers the opportunity to get key information about universities in the United Kingdom. Not less than seven universities will be represented, including one from Wales. Furthermore, there will be a Mauritius Commercial Bank desk to help those seeking information about loans. The fair will be opened on Saturday and Sunday next from 10 a.m to 5 p.m.

● <B> DIABETES WORLD DAY. </B> Next Wednesday 14th November will see the official celebrations to mark the World day for diabetes. A wide range of events has been prepared by the ministry of Health. Indeed, an open day with an exhibition on the different aspects of diabetes, a residential one-night camp for children and teenagers affected by this illness. Among others, there will be the launching of the first of a series of workshops on nutrition and the distribution of educational materials on hygiene.
