I refer to your article ?Le conseil privé statue sur l?héritage Gujadhur? published on the 31st July. You mention that Gujadhur fortune was made by three brothers, namely Ackbar, Radhamohun and Gunness. Completely false.

1. The true founders of the Gujadhur fortune are Hon. Rajcoomar Gujadhur and his brother Fakeerasingh Gujadhur.

2. You mention family is well known in the island because of horse racing ? True. Let?s not forget, Gujadhur stable was founded in 1904 by Hon. Rajcoomar Gujadhur and his eldest nephew Jaddoonundansingh Gujadhur. Since then, it has come down from generation to generation.

Lastly, Hon. Rajcoomar had seven sons, apart from three mentioned above, his other sons were : Ramnarain Rajcoomar, Dewoonarain, Sooroojnarain and Charttoorbhooj Gujadhur. This point is to remind the Gujadhur family and public at large, lest they forget.
