● TIGHT SCHEDULE ? The minister of Finance, Rama Sithanen, will have a tight schedule at the end of the week. He will sign two financing agreements with the European Union for an amount of up to Rs 500 million next Friday, 11th May. On the same day, he is leaving for Shanghai to attend a meeting with governors of the African Development Bank. He will also seize the opportunity to go to Shânxi, province of Tianli, that intends to build an industrial area in Riche-Terre.

● INTERNATIONAL FAIR OF MADAGASCAR ? About 40 local exhibitors will take part in the second edition of the international fair to be held from 10th to 13th May in Antananarivo. This will be a great opportunity for Mauritian companies to strengthen their presence in Madagascar and the region and see what fields could be developed. Enterprise Mauritius is in charge of organising the Mauritian participation there.
