Dinesh APPA JALA "The MMM is open to new ideas and new blood"

His models are Gandhi, Mandela and Martin Luther King. He hopes to ?be able to contribute to the improvement of the Mauritian society and make our island a place where ?il fait bon vivre??. This is the main objective of Dinesh Appa Jala, who became a lawyer after his studies in Great-Britain. In fact, he had never really thought that he would join politics one day because he used to have a ?negative view of politics and politicians?. But, at the University of England and Wales, ?I came across different and conflicting views of politics especially as regards human rights and the global economy. I then came to realise that it is the people who make events and politics is one of the ways how things are improved.? With this in mind, he has committed to the MMM, the ?driving force in Mauritian politics?. As he has special interest in human rights, he believes this party has contributed towards the uplifting of human rights and dignity. ?The MMM also symbolises a new way of thought and is open to new ideas and new blood.? This is why he has chosen that party to be a ?voice for the young professionals and to promote a new way of thinking?. He hopes to make people ?realise their own potential in various fields?.

Bernard MARIE ?The solution lies in education and training?

Despite the fact that this is his first experience in active politics, Bernard Marie has always been interested in ?helping his country and sharing his ideas?. So, when he finished his studies in Britain and became a lawyer in Mauritius last year, he found himself free to get involved in politics. His choice was in favour of the MMM because ?I think this party has always had a special interest in promoting the human being?. Through his commitment he would like to ?make young people understand that the solution to all their problems ? especially the most vulnerable people of society ? lies in education and training?. He also finds the reform launched by this government in the field of education a waste. ?The system should not be towards elitism and education should be available for all.?

Ryad HULLEMUTH ?Promote sports?

While he currently works in the Seychelles ? for a company based in Bahrain that deals with donations of medical equipment in the Seychelles ? he came to Mauritius especially to meet the leader of the MMM, Paul Bérenger. They have kept contact since the last general elections but they both felt that it was now ?the right time to join the party?. Although he has already helped the MMM during previous campaigns, it is the first time that he comes officially on the podium and is introduced as a new recruit. He has always admired that the MMM ?meant social justice and harmony?. He now hopes to help the most vulnerable members of society but what he holds close to his heart is the promotion of sports in Mauritius. ?I hope to be able to increase the level of football more specifically.?
