American girls accuse locals of sexual assault
While an American student reported to the police that she had been raped, her alleged attacker claims that he indeed had sexual intercourse with her but with her consent. Jessen Naraynen, a 30 year-old tour operator, is provisionally charged with rape. He told the police that he and his friend, Deepak Thaukoor, a 39 year-old policeman, met three American girls in Flic-en-Flac and took them to a restaurant and then to a nightclub there. After taking them back home, he said he had sex with one of the girls. As for his friend, he has been provisionally charged with indecent assault on the two other girls but he has also denied the accusations.
