● Another students? protest. The national platform against the abolition of the 50% subsidies on SC and HSC fees has obviously not said its last word. After two protests in Port-Louis and Rose-Hill, it intends to organise a third one in Flacq on Friday 23rd March. It hopes to get as many students as for the two previous demonstrations.

● National debate on education. The "Groupe de Réflexion Mauricien" is organising a national brainstorming on education for the coming decades on Saturday 24th March between 4 and 6 pm at Burrenchobay Hall, University of Mauritius, in Réduit. Personalities of the education sector, such as Prem Saddul or Surendra Bissoondoyal, will be among the speakers at this event. Access is free and the public is cordially invited to attend.
