So painfully bled...

Do we have to drown in its slime

To bring down crime in time?

When baby's purity,

Is in the violence of sodomy,

Stolen with such barbarity,

When rape becomes her daily bread,

Her tiny body so painfully bled,

When her dead body like an angel lies in bed,

Is our society not to hell vowed to barbarity?

One more nightmare turned into reality,

Through the insanity of bare brutality,

Courting the chances of impunity.

Drought

As time twists round

Winter’s face fades

Wind’s breath faints

Leaving a pained land

To the wrath

Of a tearless sky

The sun insatiable vampire

Sucks the last drop

Of a drying sap

Out of a dying crop

Causing lifeless crosses

To sprout instead

Judex VIRAMALAY
