It would be silly to unilaterally rebuke modern technology.

It?s just a tool, which needs to be known fully and used rightly.

Weather in my country is in fury, I have many a worry;

I cannot be with you physically but fortunately I have online proximity.

To my laptop hooked dearly, I am in with you in a second my darlings. Broadcast live, news from my country reaches me timely.

I am not with you physically but there virtually thanks to technology.

Distance is not an obstacle when technology stages its spectacle.

Creativity issued from our mental capacity knows no pinnacle,

Progress seems to go on infinitely, may be it will for eternity,

But it should be used rightly lest we want to suffer consequently,

Good and bad are the two lads who have always ruled the world,

One is sincere, he says it won?t be easy but that in the end you will be happy.

The other is a queer seer who says you will be glad but he makes you sad,

His means are so blurred, you will feel no wrong.

Please be strong, don?t be lured by his mermaid song,

Despite progress in technology he is still very strong,

And he will for long, should we not fight him effectively.

Under his prong, modern technology does us more wrong,

Laptops and mobile phones used to keep us close, under his influence become vectors of pornography and violence.

Intelligence is to be by values guided, if you do not want to be misled.

Power and sexuality like intelligence are great gifts to humanity,

Unfortunately the wrong lad there often makes his bed.

They should therefore be treated respectfully so they can develop in sanity,

Technology may be used to meet with this objective,

So long as we are attentive, inquisitive and positively innovative

To the way it is used, never should it then be abused.

Every second that passes by is like a bird that leaves your world;

Use it wisely, don?t listen to the misleading lad who acts evilly,

It?s only at that price that you will live fully and happily,

Alongside progress and technology.
