Russian gas starts flowing to Georgia
Russian gas started to flow to Georgia again yesterday, a week after explosions at a pipeline cut supplies during the coldest winter in a decade.
It was not clear exactly when Georgian homes would have gas once more, but he said things should be back to normal by today. Georgia has also agreed with Iran to bring gas via neighboring Azerbaijan.
The gas emergency has damaged relations between Moscow and Tbilisi.He accused Russia of deliberately blowing up the pipeline.
Moscow denied the allegation, accusing Tbilisi of hysteria.
