La chanteuse remplace Kirsten Dunst, qui voit son image ternie par ses problèmes de drogue et d?alcool.Vanessa Paradis sera la nouvelle ambassadrice de la marque italienne. La chanteuse française sera donc photographiée par Mert Alas et Marcus Pioggot pour la campagne publicitaire automne hiver 2008-2009.Vanessa suit les traces de Lindsay Lohan, Maggie Gyllenhaal et Laeticia Casta qui avaient également posé pour des campagnes publicitaires de la filiale de Prada. Ce n?est pas la première fois que Vanessa Paradis représente une marque de mode puisqu?elle avait posé pour Chanel durant plusieurs années.

Un tribunal du Malawi, chargé de se prononcer sur l?adoption par la chanteuse américaine Madonna d?un enfant de ce pays pauvre d?Afrique australe, a reporté sa décision à cette semaine , a annoncé récemment l?avocat de la star. Si Madonna est appréciée pour ses oeuvres de charité au Malawi, sa demande d?adoption a déclenché une polémique. Plusieurs organisations locales de défense des droits de l?Homme ont contesté le droit de garde temporaire, arguant que la législation malawite ne permet pas d?adoptions internationales.

«Sex and The City» quartet back with movie

Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda are back ? The «Sex and the City» TV stars took to the big screen last week with the world première in London of their tales of love and high fashion in New York. The film takes up four years on from where the hit series left the sassy singletons, who lusted as much for a new pair of Manolo Blahnik heels as they did for the perfect beau. The stars were greeted by hordes of screaming fans in London?s Leicester Square where Sarah Jessica Parker who is also a producer of the film said she had been working on the project for 2-1/2 years. But getting everyone together again was not easy.

Shakira campaigns for poor children

Colombian pop singer Shakira is using her fame to help poor Latin American children, but she also has her heart set a new role - mother to her own offspring. «I want two,» she told «Reuters» at an event to promote the children?s charity, the ALAS Foundation (which stands for Latin America in Solidarity Action in English). But asked when she would like to start a family, she said: «That?s a good question.» Shakira, 31, recently visited British Prime Minister Gordon Brown to talk about third world education and also went to Capitol Hill in Washington to urge lawmakers to approve more spending to help send the world?s poor children to school.
