Victoria Beckham, the British former pop star and celebrity wife of England footballer David, is to appear in a US television comedy titled Ugly Betty, the ABC network said. The celebrity, known as ?Posh Spice? in the recently reunited girl-power group the Spice Girls, is to play herself as a guest star on the show, which is based on a popular Colombian ?telenovela,? or soap opera.The Beckhams have lived in Los Angeles, the heart of US show business, since the footballer arrived this summer after signing with the local soccer team LA Galaxy.
